Children:

 Children:
  1. are confident in their use of their language and their ability to comprehend and communicate
  2. articulate their needs and express their feelings and ideas both verbally and non-verbally

  4. use language to describe, analyze, question, hypothesize, recall and recount experiences

LITERACY OUTCOMES

Children:

  1. develop love and respect for books.
  2. develop knowledge of alphabet, and understanding that print go from left to right and from up to down on a page.
  3. develop phonological and phonemic skills.
  4. understand that there is a systematic relationship between letters and sound.
  5. practice invented spelling to initiate writing.
 
HEALTH AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OUTCOMES

Children:

  1. Are confident in the use of their bodies and develop their physical competence.
  2. Participate in individual and group physical activities
  3. Apply problem solving strategies in purposeful ways.
  4. Have the physical skills required to manipulate and use equipment in their environment.

  6. Have an understanding of the concept of safety.
